Vueterix for State Regulators

The Vueterix Enforcement module works as a research assistant for state appraiser regulatory agencies. It speeds up complaint analysis so investigators can resolve cases faster and meet the ASC’s 12-month resolution requirement.

A Research Assistant for Investigators

Most of the time on a complaint goes into reading: the complaint, the appraisal, the appraiser’s response, and the supporting documents, then matching what they say against USPAP. The Enforcement module does that first pass. Investigators start with organized evidence and cited findings instead of a stack of documents. It also serves as a second set of eyes, surfacing details that are easy to miss in a manual review.

Faster analysis means fewer cases approaching the ASC’s 12-month deadline, and the deadline worklist shows which cases need attention.

How a Case Works

Staff create a case with the agency’s case number and add the documents. Vueterix identifies each document, extracts the complainant, respondent, and property details, and flags scanned packets that need to be split. Conflicting information is shown to the investigator instead of being overwritten.

The complaint is then categorized, and the applicable USPAP and regulatory questions are answered with a rationale and citations to the supporting pages. The analysis updates as new evidence is added.

Investigators Make the Decisions

Vueterix does not recommend dispositions, sanctions, or enforcement actions. Investigators review every finding and record the reason for any change. Opening, letters, disposition, and closing are all handled by agency staff.

The original analysis is kept alongside the investigator’s review. Notes can’t be edited or deleted, and the case timeline records who did what and when.

Letters, Deadlines, and Reports

Agencies upload their own Word letter templates. Letters are generated from case data and saved to the case, and a single worklist shows what’s overdue and coming due. The Findings Report covers the adjudicated findings for the board, and the Audit Report documents the full review history.

Security

Each agency’s cases are kept separate, and sensitive fields such as witness information require specific permission. Cross-state lookups are opt-in and share no names or case content.
